M. Steel Cycles is a certified Shimano Service Centre with two full time Advanced Cytech qualified mechanics. We offer a full range of repairs from a full strip down service, to a `simple` puncture. We have a fast next day service on all cycles*. Wheel repairs and builds also available. We pride ourselves on our quality of work and customer satisfaction.

| Safety Check |
Check brakes and gears are working correctly and adjust as necessary, make sure bike is safe to ride, inflate tyres to recommended pressure. |

| Basic Service |
Check all nuts and bolts are correctly torqued, check headset, bottom bracket and hub bearings for play and smooth running and adjust as necessary, check brakes and gears operate correctly, true wheels, check for any other unforeseen problems or worn out parts. And finally test ride the cycle and supply a service report. |

Strip bike back to frame and components, fully degrease and clean frame and all components, rebuild with new bearings (where necessary) and cables checking all parts for wear and or adjustment. And finally test ride the cycle and produce a service report report. |

Adjust both brakes and check pads/rim for wear, fitting new cables and pads as necessary. |

FINALLY THE ABOVE ARE ESTIMATES BASED ON THE NORMAL TIME ASSOCIATED WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL REPAIR. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE ACCORDINGLY SHOULD WE FEEL ANY REPAIR WILL GO BEYOND THAT ESTIMATE. OUR WORKSHOP RATES ARE £25 PER HOUR. YOU WILL OF COURSE BE INFORMED PRIOR TO ANY EXTRA WORK BE CARRIED OUT
